Nice to meet you

I’m Karen Young, a mastery-trained color analyst based in New York City.

I received my training at the in-person Color Analysis Mastery Program with the International Image Institute in Toronto, Canada, under Karen Brunger, the creator of the 16–23 season system I use in my practice. I’ve been interested in color analysis since I was a child, so I’m thrilled to launch!

I have always been interested in fashion and styling. Early in my career, I worked for Anthropologie’s NYC stores for 5 years, where I had the pleasure of styling hundreds of clients. I also worked in film and television, designing costumes and styling wardrobes for feature & short films, music videos, and commercials. Most recently, I worked in creative and design recruiting at tech companies Airbnb and Lyft. My experience in recruiting has given me a solid understanding of the importance of cultivating a personal brand and professional image.
